Kyle Angus has been ordered to carry out 300 hours of community service after pleading guilty to drug charges and with having in his possession an electronic stun gun. The drugs and gun were found at his house in Inverness in March 2009.

A man had to have his finger amputated after he was hit when shots were fired through the living room window of his home in Halton Village, Runcorn in Cheshire. The attack is being treated as a case of attempted murder.
James Worton-Griffiths and Shaun McEvoy stole an imitation double-barrelled shotgun from the house of a friend before attempting to rob a shop in shop in Portswood, Southampton, in July 2009 (see Incidents).
