A 19-year-old was arrested after allegedly assaulting four teenagers with a gun and a knife in St. Annes, Lancashire, stabbing one victim and stealing items from the group. He is charged with four counts of robbery, two of possessing an imitation firearm and having a hunting knife as an offensive weapon, as well as maliciously wounding a victim with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A group of three men armed with a stun gun apparently robbed two sets of victims within a night in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The group allegedly approached and threatened a pair of boys in a park, taking a mobile phone, then later robbed a man of his phone as well.

A man was reportedly seen with a firearm on the High Street in South Norwood, south London. Police were able to detain the man and receovered an imitation gun.

Days after the other incident (Paisley Daily Express, 9 February 2012), another cat was apparently also shot with an airgun in Renfrew. He suffered nerve damage after a pellet was lodged in his chest, but unlike the previous pet he did not die.

A man died at Gatwick Airport in south London after an altercation with police. The man was reportedly acting strangely and trying to cut himself with a broken bottle when he was captured by police, who used a stun gun to restrain him. He then died in an ambulance before receiving hospital treatment, and investigations are on-going as to his cause of death.

This time the incident took place in Cumbernauld as a man reportedly walked into a police station armed with a shotgun. The siege lasted two and a half hours before the perpetrator was arrested.

Four men were arrested and 'a number' of airguns were seized from a flat in Penkhull, Staffordshire after a fight broke out at a house party. A man was taken to hospital with a broken nose and facial injuries, but the airguns were not believed to have been fired.

A couple were threatened at gunpoint and attacked in their home in Luton. A group of men reportedly entered the property and threatened the occupants with a firearm and other weapons, before assaulting a male resident. Both residents were taken to hospital as the assault victim was treated for a head injury.
