Four men have been jailed in Teeside for selling drugs. In addition to recovering a large amount of cannabis, police found a stun gun and rifle bullets during their investigation. Two men were charged related to the firearms, as Jabar Hyder and Akhlaq Khan admitted possessing the stun gun and Hyder also admitted possessing the rifle ammunition. Hyder was sentenced to four years and Khan was jailed for a year.

Shakeel and Abzul Khan have been jailed for six years and eight months each after carrying out a drive-by shooting in Telford. They each admitted conspiracy to possess a firearm intending to endanger life after shooting into a home in March as a family took cover.

Michael Celmins has been jailed for one year and eight months for possessing a stun gun and possessing cannabis with intent to supply in Carlisle. Celmins escaped the standard minimum sentence of five years for illegally possessing the firearm due to 'exceptional' circumstances since he inherited the weapon from his deceased brother.

Mark Sheriden, who threatened to shoot police officers during a stand off in Ellesmere, Shropshire, has been jailed indefinitely. He will serve a minimum of three years after admitting possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Police brought down a man by shooting him several times with a stun gun after seeing him with a toy gun in Norwood Junction, south London. The victim had reportedly bought the toy weapon for 99p for his son, and officers shot him upon spotting it, causing injuries to the man's arms and legs.

An 18-year-old man carried a handgun into a pub in Hawkhurst, Kent. Police said they recovered the revolver, which had been deactivated, and would destroy it. The teenager was charged with possessing a firearm without a certificate.

Jacek Piwowarski has been jailed for two years after threatening to shoot his ex-wife and possessing a loaded shotgun in Lincolnshire. Piwowarski admitted assault, possessing a loaded shotgun in a public place and breaching his shotgun licence. He reportedly grabbed his ex-wife, leaving red marks on her arms, and told her he would 'shoot her head off'.

Dylan Wilkes has been found guilty of assaulting his former partner in Cornwall. Wilkes had been on the run for several weeks, and armed police pursued him under the belief he may have had a firearm. Wilkes, who admitted punching his former partner in the face and is alleged to have attacked her further, was caught in the water trying to swim to safety.
