A pair of men, one armed, robbed a pub in Chelsea, London. The perpetrators allegedly ordered all the customers down on the floor, marched a member of staff upstairs to a safe, and then hit her over the back of the head with the gun. They left with money from the safe and personal items from the customers.

Police recovered a handgun and live ammunition from a flat in Hackney, London. They arrested two men and one woman at the scene on suspicion of firearms offences.

Two men opened fire on a crowd leaving a church service in Brixton on Easter Sunday, 24 April. Up to 10 shots were reportedly fired into the group, but no one was injured. Three men have been arrested following the attack.

Robert Kelly was sentenced to five years in prison after admitting robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent. On 15 February, Kelly robbed a betting shop in Headington, Oxford. After threatening staff with an imitation revolver, he had them fill a bin bag with coins. But Kelly lost the money he stole on the way out as his bag caught on a phone box and ripped open.

Malachi Brown was sentenced to 12 years in prison after being found guilty of possession of a firearm and conspiracy to supply drugs. Brown was arrested with one other man after hiding a sawn-off shotgun and £100,000 worth of drugs in Sydenham, Lewisham, London.

Police recovered a pistol during a drug raid in Quinton, Birmingham. Officers arrested two young men, aged 16 and 21, on suspicion of possession of the weapon.

Eugenio Puyat was sentenced to five months in jail with two years' supervision after pleading guilty to having an imitation firearm in a public place. In July 2010, Puyat had appeared at the home of another man with a replica of a semi-automatic pistol.

Another shooting took place in Dovecot, Liverpool, in which a gunman opened fire into a home where three young children were sleeping. Police said no one was injured but that an automatic firearm had been used to spray at least eight bullets into the home.

A man was shot in a drive-by shooting in Bootle, Liverpool on Easter Sunday, 24 April, escaping with minor injuries. Police arrested two 17-year-old boys on suspicion of their involvement.

A man informed police he was assaulted by a group of men and women in Neston, Chester. Police said victim believed the group was armed. The Chester Chronicle reported on 2 May that six arrests had been made following the incident.
